Beth Hoppe is a five-time Emmy winner and the recipient of a Peabody Award. In February 2022, Beth moved from being Senior Vice President of Long Form News Programming at ABC News into a multi-year first-look development & production deal with ABC News Studios, which she helped to create. Prior to her relationship with ABC, Beth spent 6-1/2 years as Chief Program Executive & General Manager, General Audience Programming at PBS, growing the network from 12th place to the 6th most-watched network in America. During her tenure, PBS racked up record wins for News and Documentary Emmy Awards. Beth has been an Executive Producer at Discovery Networks, where she worked on Curiosity. As a founder of Optomen Productions USA, she served as President & CEO, producing series for Discovery Channel, Animal Planet, Travel Channel, PBS and Food Network. Earlier in her career, Beth held multiple roles as Producer and Executive Producer at WNET and WGBH on national productions for PBS. |
