There are over 80,000 missing persons in the U.S.  Web of Death follows regular citizens as they use social media, DNA databases, and digital footprints across the internet to take a crack at solving some of the countries most frustrating cold cases. Their dogged pursuit of truth uncovers startling facts leading to previously hidden answers.

In this season of Web of Death, six cases follow everything from a missing lottery winner to one woman's tireless attempt to identify a skull found inside a bucket of cement outside a truck stop. Another woman tries to find her missing aunt and a father searches for answers in the shooting death of his daughter. Recent cases as well as one over 50 years old get fresh attention from people who will push their limits to find justice.
